Class Overview

In this class, we will look at upcycling a variety of vases with a homemade texture paste.

I bought these bottle-shaped vases, along with a whole load of other vases from a retired florist, to decorate them and give them a new look.

For this project, we will decorate three different vases, metal, glass and ceramic vases.

I will show you:

  • how I to create your own texture paste
  • how to apply it to the vases
  • how to create the drip effect
  • how to colour and highlight the texture
  • how to seal the texture
  • and how to finish the look.

By the end of the class, you should understand how to create your own texture paste and how to create the molten drip effect on the vases.
