Class Overview

I am loving getting out into the garden and propagating my succulent plants. I have become a bit obsessed with my succulents, so much so, I go out every day to see how they are developing and growing.

I also like unusually shaped planters for the plants and love to recycle items to create new plant pots.

In keeping with this month's theme of stones, cement and concrete, I have created two lightweight pots out of Styrofoam and Cement.

So for this project, I will show you:

  • how to create the orb shape
  • how to apply the cement mixture
  • how to add extra texture

Plus, I will show you my other cement planter project and what I do with the cleaning materials.

By the end of the class, you should understand how to create your own organic-looking Styrofoam and Cement planter.
